What to see in Barcelona in 4 days

As mentioned on other what to do in barcelona for 2 days post there is a list of “must” places you have to visit even if you don´t have much time available. We added these places to every schedule we present, this way you can get the most of your visit to this awesome city.

One of our strongly recommendations when it comes to visiting Barcelona is to rent one of our Vespas, it’s the best transportation you´ll have to move free around the city and taking the most of your available time. We know you don’t want to waste time on bus trips that don´t fill your expectations.

Go and see the information in our website and find so much more about this. There you´ll find all the extended tips you need to travel in a new amazing way.

Now, begin the first day by visiting La Sagrada Familia, this unfinished piece of art created by Antoni Gaudi, represent the most valuable of the city´s architecture, you can walk inside the place and marvel with all the details in it, is something worth to live. Tickets can be bought in advance so you don´t waste any time.

Later on, that same day in the afternoon you can take a walk or drive your Vespa by the beach, you could see the whole coastal area of the city. Also, you can stop by in one of the many places available to eat or drink something refreshing.

At evening you can go on a tapas tour, by tasting the best tapas places in Barcelona and more options of traditional Spanish gastronomy.

On the second day you can stop by La Pedrera (Casa Milá) and Casa Batlló located on Passeig de Gracia, along with Arc de Triomf. We recommend this mix because they´re really close to each other so you´ll get there easily.

These places make honor to the name of Gaudi as the father of architecture, there is so much to see in these breathtaking buildings that you won´t regret this stop.

After passing by the Arc de Triomf you may also walk down the Champs Elysees. Later another nice place to see is the Olympic Park, where Barcelona hosted the Olympic Games in 1992.

Then, you must go to La Boqueria, an amazing food market just off La Rambla. You´ll be impressed with every delight they have to offer from ingredients of Mediterranean food, to traditional products like cooked ham. It is open from 8.00 am to 8.30 pm daily except Sundays when it is closed.

On the third day you should take the Camp Nou tour, whether you are a football fan or not, a visit the home ground of FC Barcelona, Camp Nou, is worthwhile, besides this is one of the biggest stadiums in the world. It also has the official store where you can buy articles of the team.

Moving forward you must take the cable car ride, this is a great way to view the city and is quite a pleasant journey.

You pass through the middle tower; the last stop is Miramar at Montjuic’s mountain. You can get off at Miramar to return later or you can return straight away. Also, you can get off at Miramar and make your own way back.

Later that day you should be enjoying some of the traditional dances of Spain: Flamenco. There are many places in the city that offer evening shows and presentations so don´t miss out this.

On the last day you can start the morning by visiting Park Guell, also a Gaudí´s piece of work and in 1984 it became a recognized UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The park is full of rare designed buildings and gardens, but the place is really beautiful. Also, there is a Park Guell app now to download which you can use to plan your visit or give more information on areas of the site.

In the afternoon you can visit the Gothic Quarter or Barri Goticand the Barcelona Cathedral, the first one is the old town filled with squares, shops, and a lot of restaurants to keep with your relaxing calm day. The Cathedral is another major piece of art and took 150 years to build.

On the evening you can choose to do something different and nice, what about a boat ride? This can be taken from Port Vell just opposite to the Christopher Columbus statu at the botton of La Rambla. The ride lasts 45 minutes but is so much worth it.

As you could see this is a calm agenda, including the most valuable places to visit but without the whole stress that a tour can cause.

The most important here is that you enjoy yourself and your free days, so you can go back home with a lot of new memories and experiences to share with others.
