What to see in Barcelona in 5 days â€“ Itinerary
On the first day you can begin by visiting Barri Gotic, the historic center of the city that dates back to pre roman times. The streets are small and it has some lovely plazas.
Here you will find the Barcelona History Museum, one of the best and complete in the city. You can even walk through roman ruins located beneath the museum. ThereÂ´s the Picasso Museum, which includes over 3,000 pieces of the artist so it offers a lot to see.
Then, you can move on to The Gothic Cathedral, which was built on top of an 11th century church. It has an elevator so you can go up to the top of the roof and enjoy an amazing view of the place.
Another recomendation is the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art, that has hundreds of exhibits most from spanish artists.
To finish this journey, you may want to stop by Parc de la Ciutadella, a beautiful walk through the streets. ItÂ´s famous because of the art pieces in it and its fountains designed by GaudĂ, of course. It also has a zoo inside the park if you like animals too.

Moving on to the fourth day, you can stop by the harbor cable car, this 1450-meter-long harbor aerial tramway connects MontjuĂŻc and Barceloneta; going from near the beach to MontjuĂŻc Hill.
Once you arrive there you will enjoy the most incredible view of the city and can visit the Castell de MontjuĂŻc, the gardens and even an Olympic stadium.
