Located in the core of the Ciutadella Park, the Barcelona zoo is the perfect place to spend time in family.
This Zoo was created in 1892, thanks to a donation. From then, it never stop widening. By visiting it, you will have the opportunity to see more than 7,000 animals from 400 differents species, such as felines, birds, monkeys or dolphines and discover its various flaura.

Snowflake, the albino gorilla
Have you heard about Copito de nieve (“Snowflake” in spanish)? This gorilla, the first albino one captivated, have lived during 37 years in the Barcelona’s zoo! He became the icon of the zoo and a symbol of the city.
Nowadays he is still a emblem in the fight for the protection of gorillas, a species in danger.
